Meet Rene Guerrier, a 60-year-old farmer who grows peanut and other crops in Haiti. Rene, who has worked with Acceso for over five years, says it was not easy for him to sell peanuts prior to working with our team. But now there are things he can buy that he could not buy before, such as seeds and food for his household. His dream is that his 11 children will further their educations. “I want all my kids to go to the university and find a job so they can help themselves,” he says. As to how he feels about helping to export Lavi Spicy Peanut Butter? “It is a great thing and a glory [for our community] to know that our peanuts are used to make peanut butter that is being sold in the U.S.“
